Welcome to Off The Junction — our mission is to help you have better, cheaper journeys.
We find interesting places to stop, alternatives to motorway services and — principally — ways to save money. Refuelling at the cheapest location rather than the priciest can save you money, and service station food and drink adds up fast on a family journey.
We're not anti motorway services — they're convenient and open 24hrs. The best are a destination in themselves; the worst are a trip back in time. We review them and recommend which to stop at on each motorway.
Every junction on every motorway has its own page listing the nearest petrol stations, EV chargers and supermarkets, with a map and a link straight to Google Maps.

How it works
Every junction on every motorway has its own dedicated guide page. Browse by motorway or search by junction number.
We map fuel stations, food, EV chargers, supermarkets, pubs, outdoor spaces and hotels — all within easy reach of the slip road.
Know before you go. Plan your fuel stops, find a pub for lunch or locate an EV charger — without winging it on the day.
Off The Junction is an independent project built using open data, real journeys and first-hand visits.
